This piece of work named war room was one of Cornelia Parker’s works, which was an interior space decorated by rolls of red paper with perforations where the poppies had been punched out. The holes represents lives didn’t come back from the First World War. The shape of the room is like a tent which reminds me of the tent existed during the wars. It also reminds me of a slaughter house which animals like cows and pigs been cut and it’s quite depressed. I really want to touch where the perforations are, feel the edge of the paper, I may feel hurt but not as painful as the past lives.

The second work is exhibited in the hallway in the Tate, which was huge amount of fake human models are presented in different figures costumes, and movements, there are pregnant women, children, horses… like a demonstration. I feel magnificent, the costumes are all in bright vivid colours and the figures of these characters are exaggerate. This reminds me of some festivals from South America. I really want to have a touch of these verisimilitude.

The third work is also Cornelia Parker’s work called thirty pieces of silver which is collection of silver tablewares, there’re 5*6 30 circles of these silver tablewares. This looks like a dinner party, the round shapes look like dining tables. I really want to hear the sound that these silver crash with each other, that may be quite satisfied.
